I'm Salimah.

Singaporean Indian Muslim. Speaks Tamil. Tech job by day. Outdoors whenever I can. Usually travelling.

I have a problem with places that look interesting. Not the famous ones. The ones nobody's posted about yet. The ones most people skip. Those ones.

I started @salam.future.me as a letter to myself. Salam — peace. Also a greeting. Future me will look back at all of this someday. I just want her to smile when she does.

So I document.

The adventures. The waterfalls. The food I ordered with no idea what it was. The time I got stuck in a country and had to find my way out. The mosques nobody told me about.The trips that went sideways and became the ones I talk about most.

Salam and Wander is where the honest version lives. Not the highlight reel. The real thing.
